Client:

Our friends at Munq, a creative agency, led TALK, a public health initiative for the cities of Newburyport and Amesbury, MA, focused on strengthening connections between adults and teens through meaningful conversation.

Challenge:

TALK needed a brand identity that would break through to both generations. Bold enough to capture teen attention while approachable enough to encourage parents to start difficult conversations.

Our Role:

We designed the brand identity including logo, color palette, and comprehensive graphic systems for print materials and social media content supporting the TALK campaign's community outreach across Newburyport and Amesbury.

Approach:

Working with Munq's public health framework and campaign messaging centered on "the 5 tools" (Daily Chats, Just Listen, Quality Time, Model Wellness, Share Values), we developed a visual language that bridges generational divides. Bold and timely enough to resonate with today's teens while maintaining the approachability parents need.

Creative Direction:

The brand employs loud, attention-grabbing typography and vibrant colors paired with narrative photography. The aesthetic feels urgent yet welcoming, emphasizing that conversations don't have to wait. The visual system reinforces the message "Now's a good time" through energetic, conversation-starting design.

outcome:

The final identity provides TALK with a cohesive, accessible presence that cuts through the noise and establishes the campaign as a relatable community resource encouraging meaningful, timely dialogue between adults and teens.
